What doesn't kill you makes you stronger...
I've certainly taken that moniker to heart the last 14 years of my life. At 4 years old, I almost died in the hospital with pneumonia, an experience from which my lungs never fully recovered. Then at age 11, I was diagnosed with severe cystic acne, wearing horrifying legions all across my pale young face, to such an extent that no doctor could give me any topical medicine or antibiotic to help. Then at age 15 I got a traumatic brain injury that devastated my dancing career, leaving me bedridden and in a dramatic state of depression, gaining 20 pounds and living in constant anxiety from the brain damage that no prescription drug could fix...
But none of it killed me-- it only made me stronger.
After my battle with pneumonia, I pushed myself to become a better athlete than my weakened lungs would predict, achieving status as a top dancer attending international ballet companies for three years in a row. When the doctors said I would be "scarred for life," I found hope in a developing skin cream called Nerium that was taking the country by storm with their revolutionary technology to clear and smooth disfigured skin. After dropping out of dance and high school, I took to the computer and started The Indie Girl after my brain injury, and got my neurotransmitters back into shape with the miraculous brain supplement of Nerium EHT. Now I am a full time college student and have lost 30 pounds by working out every day and training as a Beach Body Coach, helping others achieve their dreams and goals with a daily regimen of a clean diet and effective exercise.
